One Marylebone is an iconic Grade I listed event venue in central London, housed in a beautifully restored former church originally designed by Sir John Soane. Located opposite Great Portland Street Underground station and close to Marylebone, Regent’s Park, King’s Cross, Euston and Paddington, the venue combines impressive historic architecture with flexible spaces for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, conferences, exhibitions, product launches and gala dinners.

With soaring ceilings, stained-glass windows, mosaics, galleries and a landscaped garden, One Marylebone offers a distinctive setting for both intimate gatherings and large-scale London events.

Event spaces and capacities

The venue offers four principal spaces: The Soane Hall, The Galleries, The Garden and The Vaults. Spaces can be hired individually or combined depending on the event format, guest flow and production requirements.

The Soane Hall

The Soane Hall is the venue’s principal event space and one of London’s standout banquet settings. It features high ceilings, original architectural detailing, mosaics and stained-glass windows. The flexible floorplan can accommodate seated dinners, receptions, awards ceremonies, weddings, conferences, product launches and branded installations.

The Galleries

The double-height Galleries form a U-shaped first-floor event space made up of the East, West and South Galleries. The East and West Galleries benefit from extensive natural daylight and floor-to-ceiling windows. They can be used as one flowing event space or as a reception and arrival area for an event in The Soane Hall.

The Garden

The Garden sits along the west side of the building and can be hired as an outdoor event space or combined with the main venue. It is suited to summer receptions, wedding drinks, intimate dinners, company parties and seasonal celebrations. Partially covered seating and heating help make the space adaptable throughout the year.

The Vaults

The Vaults provide a more atmospheric late-night event environment, with two floors of space and a mezzanine overlooking the dancefloor. The space is suitable for parties, product launches, corporate gatherings and private celebrations, and is licensed until 3am.

Weddings and ceremonies

One Marylebone holds a civil ceremony licence for the venue, allowing couples to choose the space that best suits their ceremony and reception. The venue can accommodate intimate weddings through to large celebrations, with The Galleries, The Soane Hall and The Garden offering different settings throughout the day.

Corporate and private events

The venue is designed for high-end corporate events, awards ceremonies, conferences, exhibitions, charity galas, film premieres, product launches, birthday celebrations and private parties. The historic architecture provides a strong backdrop for branding, scenic design, lighting installations and immersive event concepts.

Venue information

One Marylebone is opposite Great Portland Street Underground station and within easy reach of King’s Cross, Euston and Paddington stations. There is no on-site parking, although the venue can provide information about nearby options. An accessible passenger lift is available, but there is no goods lift.

The venue works with a carefully selected network of approved and recommended suppliers. Certain services must be provided by suppliers on the venue’s approved list, so production, catering and technical arrangements should be confirmed with the venue team before booking.
