The AKG D112 MKII is a professional large-diaphragm dynamic microphone designed for powerful low-frequency sources. Widely used on kick drums, it combines very high SPL handling with a tailored response that delivers weight below 100 Hz and presence around the attack of the drum.
Its rugged construction, integrated flexible mount and hum-compensation coil make it well suited to demanding live production environments. Beyond kick drum, the D112 MKII is also an excellent choice for bass guitar cabinets and low brass instruments.
