The Sony ECM-MS2 is a compact professional MS (Mid-Side) stereo electret condenser microphone designed for camera-mounted and location sound recording. Its short 137 mm body makes it particularly useful where a low-profile stereo microphone is needed without extending far beyond the camera body.
The microphone can operate in stereo or monaural mode and is well suited to ambience, interviews, documentary work, events, location recording and general production sound. It provides a wide frequency response, balanced outputs and professional 48V phantom-powered operation.
